When you go toPennsylvania be prepared for a hot summer and a cold, cold winter! In the summer the average temperature is 111°F. The summer would be best for a dip in the pool. Bring tank tops and shorts plus a bathing suit. The winter is very cold! In the winter get ready for snow! It would be the best time to sit in front of the fire with a cup of hot coco. Some people prefer to get their snow gear on and hit the ski slopes! The winter would also be great for snowboarding. I think Pennsylvania is a great place to be in the summer and the winter. So be ready for water and snow activities.
Pennsylvania is known for some very interesting facts. Pennsylvania had the first Big Mac McDonalds in Uniontown PA. McDonalds is very, very popular in Pennsylvania. There are a lot of famous people who live in Pennsylvania. Tina Fey is a comedian, writer, and actress. Bill Cosby is a comedian. When you visit be sure to eat at McDonalds and catch an episode of 30 Rock and The Cosby`s.
In Pennsylvania there are many things to do. You can go to the Fort Pitt Museum. You will learn the struggles the French and English had with one another. It is packed with history. You can go to the William Penn statue. The William Penn statue is located in Philadelphia PA. William Penn is a famous man who discovered Pennsylvania. Pennsylvania used to be called Penn Woods. These are some great places to visit. You should visit these places to learn much more.
